It is very important to normalize the patient’s health status in order to be discharged from the ICU. The cardiac ICU is essential for a heart attack patient in order to save their life. If the person has recovered from the attack in the emergency room, then it does not mean that they are safe. The attack or the stroke may recur and that is the biggest danger of all.
