Some of the well-known cancer patient’s surgical treatments are established in Europe in the 15 to 18 centuries. In the 20th century, the cancer scientific discipline emerges.  This associates the formulation of cancer cases accounting system and the growth of statistical data which reflects the spreading of skin cancer, clinical cases and the usefulness of several treatments.

Skin cancer is considered as one of the cruel tumors that both attacks men and women especially those who are over than 50 years old.  Studies show that of the overall total of cancer incidents, five percent is dated by skin cancer.

Skin cancers are primarily caused by certain chemicals, intense insolation and X-rays.  Chronic pre-timorous processes (such as Bowen’s disease, radiation dermatitis, Kaposi’s disease), albinism, extensive scarring and long existing sore are just pre skin cancerous diseases.

Skin cancer is frequently treated by radiotherapy also known as short-distance roentgen therapy.  The cancerous tissue will die after three to four weeks.  However, in serious cases, surgical treatment is applied especially if the cancer is not reacting to radiation therapy.

Skin cancer may be one of the primary types of cancer but this is very treatable as well as long as diagnosed early.  Therefore it is very important to pay attention to the sudden change of the skin.  Sun exposure limitation is also essential in the lessening the chance of getting a skin cancer.  The use of sun protections such as shades, umbrella, hats and lotions are recommended.
