Tell Me About The Nervous System

The nervous system is the most complicated system of the human body. It functions with hundreds of body parts and controls them all. There are two main parts of the nervous system, the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. The spinal cord and the brain are the parts of the central nervous system.

The peripheral nervous system carries out several functions and is made up of a he circuit of wires like nerves. From the nervous system, the brain keeps sending out signals or messages to various parts of the body. It is sending out these signals because it is receiving information. So the brain is processing the information and sending out messages based on that. However elaborate this explanation may sound, the whole process is actually taking place in fractions of seconds.

The brain keeps the whole body in order. It controls the organs and the glands in the body. It also keeps the muscles ands tissues in control. The way we walk, talk, feel and do things is all because of the brain. But how is the brain communicating? The brain is communicating with the help of nerves and nerve cells which are located all over the human body. The signals that the brain is sending out are being delivered to the various parts of the body with the help of these nerve cells. The nerves are divided hundreds of times before they reach the spinal cord. It is an extremely complicated network of cells to understand.
